All members of Callinans's professional staff are Registered Patent/Trade Marks Attorneys in both Australia and New Zealand and/or qualified Lawyers. They all take an active interest in the development of Intellectual Property legislation in Australia and New Zealand and are members of various committees that consult with Government and Private Organisations with respect to legislative change.
Further, all of the Principals regularly travel overseas to attend conferences and seminars regarding the latest developments in Intellectual Property Law in countries of particular interest to our clients. The Principals regularly meet with our network of overseas associates and clients and are regularly invited to present seminars explaining the latest developments in Australian and New Zealand Intellectual Property Law.
Client's Intellectual Property rights are not routinely delegated to staff attorneys or junior staff. If work is to be delegated, it is done so with the full knowledge and consent of the client.
